A Message from the President
Hos•pi•tal•i•ty – noun: Hospitality – the friendly and generous reception and entertainment of guests, visitors, or strangers.
Hospitality is more than what we do, it is who we are. Our June meeting will be our last meeting before we break for the summer. I want to take this time to thank all our host sites who have shown us the true meaning of hospitality sharing their establishments, kitchens, staff and knowledge, graciously with us over the past 10 months.
Our June meeting will be at Lincoln Culinary Institute in Shelton CT. Chef Nick Saragias, the Executive Chef at Black Rock Yacht Club and Ashley Keller, an event planner for non-profits and corporations, who is coordinating the event, will be guest speaking. They will be providing information on the “Feed the Hungry Fundraiser” event taking place at the BRYC on Saturday September 22, 2018, as well as answering any of our questions. A number of CT Chefs members have shown interest in volunteering for the event and the June meeting will be a great opportunity to learn all the details.
On behalf of the Officers and Board of the CT Chefs Association, in honor of Memorial Day, I want to thank all our members, colleagues, friends and family members who serve or have served our Country with pride and dedication and a special prayer for those who made the ultimate sacrifice. We will never forget.
Pay it forward – give back
BE AN INSPIRATION
